We Filipinos put so much care, protection, and love towards our environment. Since the Philippines is known and is considered one of the top biodiversity bastions of the world, we are blessed with the profusion of natural resources as seen from the reflection of our rich land and water places.
Throughout the past years, we Filipinos had been very dependent on our natural environment to sustain our necessities. The environment has been one of our tops focuses in development providing the action of cleanliness and health of the natural world and doing it in school is no exemption.
That is why the Philippine Public Government introduced the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization or YES-O to show and express better awareness to people especially students to give protection to our mother nature.
