On the 19th of November 2022, the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) at Putlod San Jose National High School embarked on a collective mission to revitalize their workspace. The YES-O Cleaning Duty, scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., became a testament to the power of teamwork and shared responsibility.
FIRST HOUR - 8 AM to 9 AM: A Slow Start with a Strong Spirit
As the clock struck 8 a.m., YES-O officers began trickling into the school premises, each arriving with a sense of purpose. The initial plan was for officers to multitask, combining their arrival with the completion of assigned chores. However, specific reasons limited the early turnout, with only six YES-O officers present after the first hour.

SECOND HOUR - 9 AM to 10 AM: Turning Chaos into Order
Undeterred by the delayed start, the dedicated YES-O officers rallied together to commence the cleaning activities. The cluttered YES-O office, filled with scattered bottles and misplaced trash, became the focus of their attention. With a collaborative effort, they systematically arranged the modules, removed unnecessary plastic waste, and began the journey of transforming chaos into order.

THIRD HOUR - 10 AM to 11 AM: Progress and Polish
The momentum continued into the third hour as the officers diligently finished their assigned chores, guided by the directives of the YES-O President. A sense of accomplishment permeated the room as they polished their collective efforts, ensuring that the YES-O office reflected the commitment and pride of its members.

FOURTH HOUR - 11 AM to 12 PM: Rewarding Breaks and Completion
With the major tasks accomplished, the YES-O officers allowed themselves a well-deserved break, recharging their energy before the final push. Snacks were procured, and a brief period of relaxation ensued. After this refreshing pause, the officers regrouped to put the finishing touches on their cleaning duties, ensuring that every corner of the YES-O office sparkled with newfound brilliance.
As the clock struck 12 p.m., the YES-O Cleaning Duty concluded, leaving behind not just a physically transformed office but also a strengthened sense of camaraderie among the officers. This shared experience underscored the YES-O Club's commitment to maintaining a clean and conducive environment for collaboration, ensuring that their workspace reflects the ideals of environmental stewardship they advocate for.
